What is Teams Control?
We built Teams Control to put a process in place to prevent all users from being able to create Teams without an approval and oversight. As you may already have experienced, Teams by default allows all users to create Teams and what commonly happens is there is often duplication, redundancy and essentially creating chaos – where nobody knows where they should be looking for information.
Teams Control is built using Microsoft Power Platform and is accessible via Teams or SharePoint, for user to request a New Team.
When approved, we can then create a team and apply default security and permissions set by IT. We can also add templated structure to the Team such as Channels, Tabs and Apps.
