Merging Teams Channels and Chats

• Navigate between your chats and channels with less friction Easily switch between your chats and channels with improved navigation. Stay updated on everything happening across your chats and channels, now conveniently accessible in one place under Chat. You can also choose whether to keep them combined or view them separately (see how here: How to Disable the Merged Channels and Chat). You’re in control
• Your pinned chats and channels are now called Favorites. Keep your most important chats and channels at the top of your list by adding them to Favorites for easy access.
• Organize your conversations with custom sections Managing multiple projects often involves juggling various chats and channels. Now, you can organize them into sections for easy access to conversations related to specific projects or topics. Simply drag and drop relevant chats and channels into their designated sections.
• Know when someone mentions you by name With a single click, you can easily view all your @mentions across chats, channels, and meetings, ensuring you never miss an important conversation.

The feature we are really excited about is the Sections, being able to pull together multiple channels & chats into a group – like “Current Projects” which gives you real flexibility to organise your workspaces.
